New Room Decor - Juniper Fox Painting
I'm sure you've seen the infamous Juniper "The Happiest Fox" on the internet being an adorable pet fox with her "boyfriend" Moose, the dog. I found her Instagram and instantly followed because she's super cute and her owner always does posts on her experience with raising a pet fox. Her owner started doing paw paintings of Juniper and sells them on Etsy. I love supporting small businesses especially when it's for animals. Her owner recently had a sale for 15% off paintings so I thought it was good chance to get one! I chose the gold one because it would match my room better. I received mine in the mail today and I'm so happy with it! I love that I know mine is "one of kind" so it's extra cute! I couldn't be more happier for my purchase! I would highly recommend not only following her on Instagram but to also support a great cause and take a look at her Etsy for a painting!

Apple AirPods Review
Hello everyone, back with another tech review! I will be reviewing Apple's latest product the AirPods. I've been eyeing these since they released it. I love me some Apple products so I was very excited for this. I've always wanted wireless headphones but I'm not a big fan of Beats by Dre so I was hoping these would do the trick.
I bought the AirPods online on the Apple website on December 20th, 2016. The website said it would take 8 weeks to ships and the nearest Apple stores won't have it in store around the same time. So I said, "fuck it" and bought them for $159. The email said it would arrive by February 8th. That's very far away date so I decided it would be worth it and my patience would be very tested.
Around the middle of January I got another email saying my package is shipping and it would arrive by February 1st. A whole week earlier than expected so that's great! My package arrived at the end of the day at my front door step. It came in the classic white Apple box and it contained a lightning cable, which is nice since it doesn't need a special cord and I already had 4 other lightning cables. Then there was the AirPod charging case containing the headphones. When I opened the charging case, there's a small orange light so I assumed it needed to be charged first to use. I looked at the quick reference guide to see how to set it up and the instructions said to just simply open the charging case, turn on the bluetooth on my phone, and it will be connected. I did just that and instantly it connected and ready to use. On my phone it said the headphones had 67% battery and the charging case had 45%. It was ready to use so I put the headphones in my ears and played a song.
The sound is amazing. It's a lot better than using the wire headphones. I read more from the quick reference guide to see what else I can do with it. It works with Siri so you double tap either headphone and it makes a "ding" noise and you can use Siri. If you want to lower/raise the volume or change the song you have to also double tap a headphone and verbally say a command. I wish there was an easier way to do that because when I'm working out in the gym, I don't want to randomly say "LOWER VOLUME" or "PLAY NEXT SONG" out loud. But it's no big deal since when I workout I'm on my phone anyway. I mostly bought these headphones for the gym. When I used the regular wire headphones I would always knock out a headphone from my ear accidentally. The wire also limited my mobility to move when I go for runs so I like the freedom it gives me.
I've only used Apple headphones so I have no comparisons to it for other headphones. But I would only recommend the AirPods if you can use the regular Apple headphones and they don't fall out of your ears because they are shaped the exact same way. For me, the regular Apple headphones work for me so that's another reason I bought these.
I've only used them twice for working out and all I can say is I LOVE THEM. It makes my workouts so much easier to do and it's so comfortable to wear I usually forget I'm using them. I would recommend these, definitely, but only if you like the regular Apple headphones.

JS Velour Liquid Lipstick Review
I thought I would switch to a different brand to review and today I chose Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I own these products and his lip scrub and I think that is the only products I will buy from him. I love his products but I'm not his biggest fan especially his whole beef with Kat Von D. Anyway, I'm here to review these five velour liquid lipstick. His velour liquid lipsticks are the first products he made for his cosmetics brand. Each liquid lipstick sell for $18. All of his products are vegan and gluten free, which is nice. From the picture above, I'll review them from left to right.
The packaging of each liquid lipstick is really nice. The shape of the tube is sleek and small. The cap locks when you close it so it won't dry out. The Barbie pink cap is meh but it's a Jeffree Star signature so he has to do it.
Abused is, clearly, a very bold color. It's a navy blue shade with a hint of purple. I have worn this a couple times, not out in public yet (that is one of my goals this year) because it's a very unusual shade. I got this shade because I wanted to try a shade I don't already own. The navy purple isn't complementary to make your teeth look whiter. As for wear, it dries matte fairly fast and lasts for a long time. It does get kind of dry but all liquid lipsticks are fairly dry and it's not uncomfortable. It doesn't have a smell. If anything it has a very small chemically smell if you stick it to your nose close enough.
Next is Unicorn Blood. I LOVE THIS SHADE. I've always wanted a deep maroon shade to wear in the fall and this is the perfect shade for that. It has a root beer scent to it, and Jeffree Star said that only comes in limited edition shades. I like the smell. It's very unique and it's not super strong and it goes away eventually. I get compliments a lot when I wear this shade. It lasts all day and doesn't flake. No complaints.
Up next is Redrum. This was the first shade I bought. I wanted a liquid lipstick that was true red with a blue undertone and it's the perfect shade. It has the same small hint of chemical smell as Abused does. I get a lot of compliments from this shade, as well. It wears beautifully all day. I might have to touch up after a few hours but that's normal. Red shades are the trickiest to apply. It takes me so long to apply this shade because if you mess up, it's a whole process to fix it.
Second to last is Masochist. This shade is a bright fuschia pink. I've only wore this at home a couple times because it's very bright and I haven't had the occasion to wear it out in public. I like this shade a lot. It has a blue undertone so it makes your teeth look whiter. It wears very comfortably and lasts a long time. I'll post a picture of me below of me wearing this shade. I think it's very complimentary for my skin tone.

Last but not least, is Androgyny. The shade is a plum mauve. It's a very unique color and that's what I like about it. I think this is the one shade that doesn't wear all day long. I had to reapply a couple times after a couple hours. And this shade has a stronger chemically smell as well. I like the shade and it goes well with a lot of different eye looks. I've worn this shade the most but it's very drying.
Looking at the company website right now, I see a lot of shades that used to be always sold out are still in stock. Even the "limited edition" holiday shades are still in stock. I think his fan base is slowly dying down because of the truth of who he really is in real life. Especially of what he shows off on YouTube and Snapchat. And his whole fight with Kat Von D, I'm sure a lot of people are taking her side because she had proof of his fakeness.
Would I recommened this brand? Meh. I like his liquid lipsticks, they're my top five favorite. I won't purchase any of his other products because I heard they're not that great. The price are fairly reasonable for a liquid lipstick. I think you get less product than others. His shade ranges are a lot and unique. I think you can find other brands with the same shade with better quality.

Face Mask Review: Gravitymud Firming Treatment
Hello everyone! I'm here for my first post on Face Mask Reviews! I love doing face masks and I own a lot so I thought I would do reviews on them. First up, is GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment.
The Gravitymud mask is claimed to be for all skin types, help with fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skintone, and with loss of elasticity and firmness. It's a peel off mask that is silver in color and when dries it becomes very silver chrome. It comes with a small brush to help put on your face evenly. You leave on for 30 minutes and gently peel off your face.
I got this mask because of the amazing reviews everyone said about it and because of the cool color it changes to. I read the reviews on Sephora and people with acne prone skin said it was good. I was pretty skeptical at first because of the hefty price of $69. I think it took me a few months until I said "fuck it" and bought it.
What I like about GLAM GLOW products is the packaging of their products. All of their masks come in different shaped boxes. I think that's really fun. Anyway, it came with a small brush which is nice. When I opened the bottle it was a very pretty bright white in color. It has a smell of coconut which I'm not a big fan of but I can live with it. I took the brush and applied it to my face. It was a little difficult to spread it out and to get an even amount all over the face. The smell got more intense, obviously, which is one thing I don't like about it.
I kept it on for about 30 minutes, until I could feel the mask tighten and dry. Peeling it off was very easy and satisfying. After I removed it all, my skin looked very luminous. I didn't notice my pores any tighter or any of the claims it said. I only used this three times but every time I used it, my skin broke out pretty bad. I really wanted to look past this because it was a really cool mask and I like how it made my skin look, but my skin was not loving it. I had to listen to my skin. With that being said, I returned this product. I would recommend this product but I can't really justify the price for only getting 1.4 ounces. I can get 1 ounce of foundation for $10. The $69 is just crazy to me.

Kylie Cosmetics The Bronze Palette Review
I'm a huge fan of the Kardashian/Jenner family and I'm not afraid to to admit it. I've watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians since season one and I still watch the new seasons today. "They only got famous because of their Dad!" "They're only famous because of Kim's sex tape!" Cool. Great. I mean I'm sure those things helped them with getting famous but they're business women of multi million dollar companies. You can't hate someone for being successful. After following them on Instagram and Snapchat, you can clearly see how boujee they are with their material things but honestly I would be like that too if I had the money they had. I will always admire this family and support them because I think they're inspirational women.
That being said, I'm a huge fan of Kylie Jenner. She's only nineteen years old and she has such a successful company and is doing it all on her own. When I found out she was doing her own makeup line, I wasn't surprised at all. I knew she loved makeup for a long time and when she first announced she was releasing liquid lipsticks (my favorite makeup product of all time), I was really excited for her. I'll do another post on her liquid lipsticks but for right now, I'm only going to talk about her eyeshadow pallets.
Eyeshadow is the the one makeup product I have the least in. I love a good smokey eye, don't get me wrong, but I just could never get the look the way I wanted to. Over time, I practiced a lot and learned it took A LOT of patience and A LOT of blending. I usually don't use eyeshadow because I'm lazy and have no patience for it.
Her first eyeshadow palette is called The Bronze Palette. I was hesitant to get this because it's eyeshadow, my least favorite thing. I thought the colors were beautiful but I was still not super interested. After watching some YouTube video reviews on her first palette, everyone said it was a really great palette but overpriced. Which I agree, it's priced at $42 for nine shadows. The palette doesn't include a mirror or brush. Most of the reviews were good and I think people wanted to hate the palette because it's Kylie Jenner and you either like her or you don't. At the next restock of the palette, I said "fuck it" and got it.
The shipping took almost two weeks and it arrived with the palette covered in foam to protect it and a card like all her other products come in. The packaging is hard and it feels really light in weight. It definitely feels sturdy and not flimsy at all. On the front, it's a black and white picture of Kylie's eye brows and eyes with metallic droplets of black, bronze, and brown shades. It's very different and pretty. The back has all the shadow shade's names. The inside has KYLIE on the flap, which I'm surprised there's no mirror. She did mention she's putting a mirror in all her palettes now. You can tell she put a lot of effort into making her palette great and what people would use. Following her on Snapchat, she talks a lot about how long it took to get it perfect to how she wanted it.
When I first looked at the palette I thought "I'm not going to use this. I hate orange." Which is true. I don't like orange, yellow, and red because I don't think those colors look good on me. I like cool toned things. Personal opinion. But the one thing about makeup is it's fun to experiment and branch out of your comfort zone. I swatched a couple of the shades and I was surprised at how pigmented they were. After staring at the palette for a bit, trying to figure out an eye look to do, I picked up my blending brush and put the color Topaz in my crease for a transition shade and just let my imagination go wild. I tried to use as many colors as I could and I even used the burnt orange shade, Citrine. I was even more surprised at how much I liked the warm colors on my eyes. It gave me a different confidence that I've never experienced before and I loved it. There is quite a bit of fall out but if you want your shadows to be pigmented, there's going to be fall out.
After using it once, I used it every time to make a different look. You can make a simple, basic look to a super smoked out, glam look and that's what I really like about the palette. I would recommend this palette to everyone, but I'm sure there's other similar and cheaper palettes/shadows out there. It's a splurge item I treated my self to and an item I only got because it's Kylie Jenner. After using it all the time, I'm excited for her other eyeshadow palettes she's coming out with.

Fitbit Blaze Review
I got a Fitbit Charge for Christmas in 2014 and I loved it. The Charge was sleek and small which was good for my small wrists. I wore it 24/7 (except in the shower) so it was easy to track my sleep and to always have my steps in. In April, the strap broke so I emailed Fitbit and they sent me a brand new one free of charge! A couple months later later, the strap broke, again, so I gave up on a Fitbit. My wrist did feel very bare and it was hard to get into the habit of not raising my wrist to check the time.
In March 2016, I saw Fitbit was coming out with a new Fitbit device and, of course, I had to get it. I preordered the Fitbit Blaze for $200 and it came in the mail a couple weeks later. What really made me want to get this one specifically was the touch screen with the option of specific workouts to track.
The Blaze comes with heart rate monitor, smartphone notifications, color touchscreen, sport tracking with GPS, on screen workouts, music control, and automatic activity tracker. The majority of these features only works with Bluetooth connected to your phone. I find this drains your battery on your Fitbit and your phone very fast. The battery of my Fitbit is very spotty. It says the battery lasts for 5 days but I have yet to have my battery last more than 2 days.
With the Fitbit app, you add friends from Facebook or your contacts who have a Fitbit. I like this feature because you can see how many steps your friends take in the week. With your friends, there's challenges you can do to see who can take the most steps that week. Who ever wins that weeks gets a trophy. It's nice to have a little fun competition with your friends.
The wrist bands are easily removable to change. I've only changed mine once because the band broke. You can find cute and fashionable bands on Amazon or other retail stores. It has the option of changing the digital clock face. There's 9 to chose from and there's a good variety to fit your liking. I have mine set to the "Moment" option because I like the big clock time and it shows the date. It's easier to look at my watch and see this than to pull out my phone from my purse or pocket.
What I don't like about the Blaze is I have tiny wrists so the screen and silver holder take up my whole wrist basically. And I keep the tightness of the strap at the very last notch which is still a little too loose on my wrist. Also, I don't like the short battery life it has. I charge mine over night so I can't track my sleep but I personally don't care about that.
Overall, I really like my Fitbit Blaze. I would recommend it to anyone who is active or wants to be active. I would recommend any product from Fitbit. The customer service is great and they have a variety of products to choose from to fit your needs to be fit and active!

My Vanity
I recently got a new desk, chair, mirror, and lamp for Christmas and I now have my own vanity to do makeup! I used to do my makeup standing up or sitting on the floor and now that I have a proper desk, it is definitely a game changer!
Starting from the left side, I have my iPad which I use everyday and use it as a second monitor sometimes if I have my laptop at my desk. When I'm doing my makeup, I use it to watch Netflix or Youtube or listen to music as background noise. In the first glass holder I have my Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks in a Bath & Body Works candle glass I cleaned out. I really like these and use them all the time so I put them on display. Then I have my lamp which is from Target. Then I have my setting sprays with makeup removers. In front of my mirror I have my makeup brushes in two clear acrylic holder. Then I have the majority of my makeup products in three clear acrylic drawers. I use another smaller mirror which lights up and has two different sizes of magnification which is great for doing my eyes. On the right side I have lipliners and glosses in the same holder as I have for my brushes. I'm a big fan of liquid lipsticks so I have a separate holder in a Bath & Body Works candle glass. For my lipsticks and Jeffree Star Cosmetics liquid lipsticks, I have them in this clear acrylic lipstick holder. In the front of the desk, theres a drawer I keep my eyeshadow, contour, and blush pallets.
I added links to all the acrylic holders if you're interested in them. If you see any products you wish to have me do a review on, let me know!

My Current Skincare Routine
Morning Routine
- When I first wake up in the morning, I drink a few sips of water from my water bottle to wake me up a little and to quench my thirst.
- PSA DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH DIRTY HANDS! I always wash my hands very thoroughly with soap and warm water. Soap is soap and it all does its job so it doesn't matter what kind it is (IMO)!
- I wash my face with Murad Clarifying Cleanser two times. The reason I wash my face twice is because the first time it cleans my face from the oil built up over night and the products I used last night. The second time I feel like it actually cleans my face and keeps it clear throughout the day.
- I then dry my face using a dry wash cloth I keep in my room so I know it's clean and other people won't use it. I know this sounds odd but I found keeping things as clean as I can and in my control, my face is a lot clearer and I feel better about my skin.
- If I woke up with a huge, stubborn pimple I will use Murad Acne Spot Fast Fix 3.5% Benzoyl Peroxide but usually I don't care and skip this step.
- I use a penny sized amount of First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Oil-Free Mattifying Gel Moisturizer. I have very oily skin (even in the winter) and this moisturizer doesn't break me out and that's really the only reason I use it. It doesn't keep me matte all day long but it's a moisturizer and you need to moisturize even if you have oily skin!
- Sunscreen is a very underrated product nobody uses. "But Hannah, it's winter/cloudy/I'm not outside ever/don't use it. Why do I need sunscreen?" I thought this same thing for years. I found this sub reddit and boy did it change my life (I'll do a whole post on my skin journey but for now, just believe me). I recently tried MDSolarSciences Mineral Tinted Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and I love it. It doesn't break me out and it's super lightweight. It does have a slight tint to it but I like it because my skin can get a little red during the day.
- To finish it all off, I use Burt's Bees Lip Balm because it's winter right now and my lips are struggling. If it's summer and/or I know I'm going to be outside, I'll use Fresh Sugar Sport Treatment Sunscreen SPF 30 for my lips because your lips can get sun burnt, too!
Bedtime Routine
- My bedtime routine is very different from my morning routine and it varies if I'm wearing makeup or not and how much makeup I'm wearing.
- Wash my hands with soap and warm water.
- If I'm wearing a full face of makeup I'll use Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. This stuff really breaks down and takes off all my makeup in one step.
- Then I'll use my Murad Clarifying Cleanser on a Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleansing System. This stuff REALLY breaks down my makeup and gets all the makeup out of my pores. I used to use the Mia 2 every night but it started to get too harsh on my skin so I only use it when I'm wearing a lot of makeup. Then I'll wash my face again with Murad Clarifying Cleanser with my hands.
- If I'm only wearing mascara and eyebrow stuff, I'll use Sephora Collection Supreme Cleansing Oil to break all the makeup down. Then I'll wash my face twice with Murad Clarifying Cleanser.
- If my skin is feeling gross and grimy, I'll exfoliate use Murad Pore Reform Skin Smoothing Polish. I won't exfoliate if I used my Clarisonic Mia 2 because that would be too harsh on my skin doing two deep cleaning things in one night. It's important to exfoliate because it deep cleans your skin and it helps with any hyper pigmentation. This exfoliate is great and makes my skin feel super soft after.

It's important to exfoliate because it deep cleans your skin and it helps with any hyper pigmentation. This exfoliate is great and makes my skin feel super soft after.
- Then I'll use a cotton round and a small amount of Murad Clarifying Toner all over my face, focusing more on the T zone.
- After that I use one pump of my Curology Treatment made specifically for my skin concerns. This keeps my acne at bay and helps with any pigmentation. My prescription is 4% Azelaic Acid, 1% Clindamycin, and 4% Niacinamide. Curology is formulated by a doctor by asking questions about your skin concerns and past treatments you've tried. You post pictures of your face to show the doctor and she/he can make a final assessment. You can talk to you doctor and time if you have any questions on products to use, if you aren't seeing any progress, or anything else about your treatment! They automatically deliver your treatment every couple months so you don't have to remember to get more! It's $20 a month but your first month is free and can quit anytime! If you're interested, please use this link.
- To help even more with hyper pigmentation and post acne scars, I'll use Murad Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel. This stuff if EXPENSIVE but totally worth it. You only need one pump and it covers my whole face. It really helps with any acne scars but you have to keep using it every day to really see results. I first only used it every other day (because of the price) but I wasn't seeing much results.
- For moisturizer I use Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion - Blemish Prone/Oily Skin. This is really refreshing and keeps my skin super soft.
- For spot treatment of acne I have, I'll use Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I've only been using this for almost a week now but WOW does it just get rid of any acne over night. I use a cotton swab and dip it into the lotion and dab it on any acne spots I see then leave it on over night. The smell of it really reminds me of the lotion your mom puts on you when you have mosquito bites when you were younger, ya know? Anyway, I love this stuff. Would recommend.
And that's it! I've learn to keep it simple for my skincare and to really listen to my skin of what it needs that day. I'll make a post later of skin masks I've been using lately and my acne journey. I posted a picture of what my skin looks like as of today and I'm very happy with my skin! If you have any questions or recommendations, leave a comment below!
